GAMLA Pyrotechnic Limited commenced the business of marketing commercial explosive since 1991 when it was incorporated as a limited liability company. It evolved from the Pyrotechnic Division of Gamla (Nigeria) Limited, its parent company which had been in the business since 1986.
Since its incorporation, the company has been marketing its products to mining, oil prospecting/drilling and construction industries across Nigeria and today, has several administrative offices and magazines (warehouses) across Nigeria.
In 2006, after 20 years in the explosives business, Gamla Pyrotechnic Limited was granted the license to manufacture emulsion explosives, the latest and safe technology option for 21st century commercial explosives.
